Marcos Brito aka QBoy started his career in 2001 as the editor of revolutionary site, co-promoter and DJ of gay hip-hop party Pac-Man and was the first recorded openly gay MC in the UK, releasing his debut E.P. ‘Even The Women Like Him’ in 2004, mixtape ‘Remixes Don’t Count’ in 2006 and album ‘Moxie’ in 2009. He has toured across the globe, supported Boy George live and been featured in everything from i:D and Mixmag to The Guardian and The Independent. He also presented his own documentary ‘Coming Out To Class’ for Channel 4 looking at homophobia within the classroom and has become somewhat of a champion for the LGBT community. He has also hosted BBC Radio 1 documentary ‘The Rise Of Homo-Hop’ based on the docu-film he also featured in ‘Pick Up The Mic’ and he co-produced the BBC Radio 1Xtra documentary ‘Push It: Salt-N-Pepa’. He has currently been working under the name Sam LeMans with US producer and DJ Larry Tee and is working on his new album due for release late 2012.
